I have been thinking about getting a CNC machine for a long time but due to high price I have been holding off. Now I see these cheap versions coming up and I picked one up on sale. I was able to get 10%off during black Friday so I would watch the price for a while if you are interested in buying one.

Setup was very easy, however one complaint I have is the documentations are not enough. It starts very good then it's almost like they gave up half way through and shipped it. Luckily there are enough people with similar problems that you figure stuff out easily.

I used easel to convert my logo into gcode and ran the gcode using the candle that is shipped with the CNC. I am still learning the tricks of it. I found that I have to do a Z-prob, start the spindle, and hit run on candle.. If I do anything in the middle, it will mess up the routine. Otherwise very nice and consistent results.. I love it and can't wait to carve more stuff out!!!
